MangDang is the vendor of Stanford Pupper project. You can purchase a kit to build the robot for cheaper than what it would cost you to get the parts yourself. If you have any questions, please feel free to mail to sales@mangdang.net


Stanford Pupper project was launch in 2020, we supply pre-built Stanford Pupper image for customers from 2020, but you know, Raspberry Pi will update their hardware several times every year, we also have to update our image, otherwise, you can not use the old image file to boot up your new Pi. We released Mini Pupper in 2021, it’s time consuming to maintain several baselines, so we decide to re-use Mini Pupper software. 

From June 14, 2022, if you order Stanford Pupper Kit from MangDang, we will ship you our custom board to Raspberry Pi, the custom board is also used in Mini Pupper. Of cause, you can choose your own custom board and compile software by yourself  to fix the issues caused by software and hardware incompatibility.


Disadvantage :

       You can only order the custom board from MangDang.

Advantage:

       We will maintain the software, you can use not only default Standford Pupper software, but also can re-use Mini Pupper ROS and OpenCV advanced features.


The change points DIYed by MangDang are as follows:

Use 3D printed parts to replace the Standoff parts, 

they will make Pupper run better.
